![]() ![]() If you do, redo the solder work, making sure that the wires are as short as possible and f equal lengths.Įdit the "DSi footer template.bin" file with a hex editor. I'd dump it a few times and verify to make sure you don't have a corrupt dump. Instead, use Win32diskimager or a similar program (installer in the package) to dump the NAND. Windows gives you a prompt asking if you want to format the DSi, but don't do it, since if you do you'll brick the console. I have neither, so mine ended up looking like this. Those points are tiny, so you'll need patience and soldering skills. Solder the SD adapter to the DSi motherboard according to the pinouts in the package. Next, run the game with the DSi and copy down the number it displays onscreen. You can also install the exploit by whatever other means you have of putting save files on a game card (the save files are also in the package), the flashcart method is the most convenient for me. Get your system's CID by running the TB loser_inject.nds file in the package from a flashcart on your DS or DS lite (the DSi returns to the menu when it detects a game card's been ejected, so it won't work) and following the prompts (it tells you to eject the flash cart, put in The Biggest Loser, and press start). The value starting at offset 38F and ending at offset 39E (so it has a length of 10) is your ConsoleID. Drag it to the "extract srl.bat" file, and open the "OUT.footer" file in a hex editor. Get your system's ConsoleID by copying any title from your DSi NAND to the SD card and subsequently your computer. This package of software and other useful stuff Precision JIS screwdriver set (you can get away with Phillips, but it's a pain in the ass)Īn original DS or DS lite, and a flashcart that works with it (doesn't need to be DSi compatible)- optional if you have another way to write a game save to a DS game cardĪ MicroSD to SD adapter, with wires soldered to it according to this diagramĪ DSi (original or XL) that has at least one title on it that can be moved to the SD cardĪ computer running Windows 7 or above (not pictured) Soldering iron with a needle tip and relatively fine solderĪnker 8-in-1 SD card reader or another SD card reader that supports 1-bit data transfer (just buy that one if you aren't 100% sure that yours does) Also, you can try skipping to step 6 and forgoing the NAND dumping entirely, but some DSiware won't work without being properly launched from the NAND.Īnyway, here's what you'll need (ignore the N3DS). I'm not that good at writing, so make sure you read through the whole thing before trying anything.
